Imagine your house is on fire. The fire brigade arrives, switches off the fire alert and leaves. Great, isn’t it? The mean noise has gone, the rest won’t be that bad.
Well, our approach
We do not only want to get rid of the background noises, but fight the fire itself, refurbish your body and keep it in good condition, so the next fire won’t stand a chance anymore.
The number one reason for sick leave in 2021 was back pain. It has various causes, such as working from home, incorrect or insufficient movement, stress and physical trauma. Also the frequent exclusively symptomatic treatment of recurring back problems with painkillers and such plays a significant role. Chiropractic, on the other hand, aims to get to the cause and strives to reach sustainable change. Whether it’s an acute lumbago, sciatic pain, or chronic tension – we’ve got your back.
Headache / Vertigo
Almost everyone experiences a headache at some point in their life. It can be sharp, dull, one-sided, or on both sides, and it can last for a short period or, not uncommonly, become chronic, significantly impacting daily life. Headaches and dizziness can have their origins in the musculoskeletal system. In particular, blockages and restrictions in the cervical spine and temporomandibular joint, along with resulting tension in the surrounding muscles, can cause these symptoms. Chiropractors are specialized in diagnosing and treating such functional disorders.
The human body reaches its absolute peak during pregnancy. Hormonal and biomechanical changes demand a lot from the pregnant body. While the baby makes itself comfortable and grows in the womb, it can pose quite a challenge and sometimes be quite uncomfortable for the surrounding organs and the mother’s spine. Chiropractic care can help improve or, better yet, prevent these physical discomforts. Some typical pregnancy complaints that we can treat include sciatica, symphysis pain, heartburn, backaches, and headaches. Whether it’s week 1 or week 40, we are happy to welcome everyone who comes rolling through our doors. 🙂
Newborns / Kids
“Why should babies need to see a chiropractor? They don’t have back pain yet, do they?” The answer is quite clear – Yes and no :). Many patients in our practice are only a few days old. Since birth can be quite exhausting for these little ones, their parents bring them in for their first check-up to ensure they have a relaxed start to life. The duration of the birth, the position in the womb, as well as the birthing process itself, can often lead to tension in newborns. Symptoms such as breastfeeding and digestive issues, excessive crying, torticollis, and cranial asymmetries can be indications of these tensions. With very gentle techniques, we often see the first improvements in newborns already during their initial treatment. Chiropractic care also have a positive influence on the sensory and motor development of infants, helping them reach important developmental milestones.
Chiropractic care has been an integral part in international professional sports for a long time. We can support the body not only in recovering from injuries and overuse but also provide a natural boost. Chiropractic treatments act as a form of natural doping. By improving neuromuscular control, maintaining, and optimizing mobility, we contribute significantly to performance enhancement and injury prevention. That’s why, as sports enthusiasts ourselves, we support the German Track and Field Association (DLV) and work with a wide range of professional, elite, and amateur athletes from various disciplines.
Prevention is the key to good health. Just as prophylaxis and dental cleanings are beneficial for our teeth, chiropractic check-ups are valuable for our spine. Since many complaints are the result of years of poor posture and compensatory strategies, chiropractic care works very well preventively. By regularly having our spine and body checked, regardless of complaints, we can identify and address functional limitations before they become symptomatic.
Once someone has experienced the feeling of a well-functioning body, they won’t want to miss out on that feeling anymore.
